From 19 to 21 July 2024<\/strong> the region around Obertrum am See is once again in triathlon fever. The Trumer Triathlon is known for its beautiful course in the hilly Salzburg Seenland and the exuberant atmosphere along the route.<\/p>\n

There are 7 triathlon competitions to choose from, a triathlon festival for the whole family. For beginners and pros alike, Obertrum am See has everything your heart desires!<\/p>\n

Friday offers a gentle warm-up for the triathlon weekend. With the two Seacrossing<\/strong> Compete over 1.4km from Matzing or over 3km from Seeham, cross the Obertrumer See and swim in a beautiful setting.<\/p>\n

On the second day of the competition\u00a0Four exciting competitions<\/strong>\u00a0on the programme. At the\u00a0Kids Triathlon<\/strong>\u00a0presented by Generali, the young triathletes can\u00a0with different distances<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Depending on their age group, the children can take part in their first competitions.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Fun triathlon<\/strong>\u00a0presented by Raiffeisen offers with its short distances\u00a0250 m swim, 12.5 km bike ride and 2.5 km run<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the ideal introduction to the sport of triathlon.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Sprint triathlon<\/strong>\u00a0presented by Trumer Free play with\u00a0750 m swim, 25.4 km bike and 5.2 km run<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>is one of the most popular competitions at the Trumer Triathlon weekend and is also possible as a relay competition.<\/p>\n

Saturday evening the MeinBezirk.at\u00a0Charity Run<\/strong>\u00a0presented by Raiffeisen. The concept of the charity run is very simple: a distance of one kilometre is to be covered as often as possible in 30 minutes, as one euro is donated for each lap. In addition, part of the registration fee goes into the donation pot, which is then topped up again by Raiffeisen Salzburg. The donation will be used to support the Seekirchen association \"Rolling Home\" and thus young adults in wheelchairs. After the run, the rock cover band \"Himmel\" will provide a great atmosphere at Trumer Platz. Admission is free!<\/p>\n

The Trumer Triathlon ends with the\u00a0Grand finale<\/strong>\u00a0of the two supreme disciplines, the short distance and the middle distance.
One particular challenge that many triathletes like to take on is the\u00a0Short distance<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a01.5 km swim, 41.8 km bike ride and 10 km run<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Middle distance<\/strong>\u00a0is THE classic of the Trumer Triathlon for the pros among you. The Challenge:\u00a01.9 km swim, 88.5 km bike and 21.1 km run\u00a0<\/strong>(also possible as a relay event). Since 2023, the middle distance has been a Bronze Thier race of the PTO and thus part of the international competition calendar.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For all triathletes who want MORE, there is the\u00a0Trumer Triple<\/strong>\u00a0A very special challenge: lake crossing, sprint triathlon and middle distance in one weekend! If you want to \"start slowly\" but still fancy three shorter events on three consecutive days, the\u00a0Trumer Triple light<\/strong>\u00a0perfect. You will experience the special Trumer feeling with the following competitions: Seecrossing light, fun triathlon and short distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food truck festival as a highlight<\/strong>
The Trumer Foodtruck Village is the highlight outside the race track this year. With seven different food trucks and an event bar from Streatfood Austria, visitors and participants will be offered culinary delights and a great supporting programme. All food truck enthusiasts are cordially invited to take advantage of this offer. The Trumer Foodtruck Village is open at the following times: Fri 19:00-21:00, Sat 10:00-23:00 and Sun 09:00-17:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Road closure!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some diversions are necessary for the organisation of the competitions on Saturday and Sunday. As an athlete and visitor to the Trumer Triathlon or as a neighbour and visitor to the Salzburg Seenland, you can find out about the road closures and diversions here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRAFFIC INFORMATION FOR SUNDAY
The road closures on Sunday are somewhat more far-reaching: In order to secure the road traffic over a wide area, we have drawn up a diversion plan with the diversion routes that can be used to reach all localities on Obertrumer See.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
