You have made a good choice with our village: It is cosy here and the clocks go a little slower. If you like, take a nice hike, for example up the Tannberg, and enjoy the phenomenal view. You can also go horseback riding or take a carriage ride here.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the village, you may want to visit the parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary - the baroque high altar is by the master Meinrad Guggenbichler.<\/p>\n<p>Walter Scheel (former German Federal President) married his wife in the daughter church of the Holy Cross in the district of Gebertsham in 1988. This late Gothic church has a single nave with a west-sided ridge turret dating from around 1500. The winged altar from the 16th century is attributed to Gordian Guckh. Wall paintings were last discovered in the church: 178 multi-coloured plant ornaments, several consecration crosses and murals can still be seen today.<\/p>\n<p>Would you like to explore our beautiful region by bike?
